I was turned on to the work of Kazu Kibuishi a couple of months ago, and have been checking his blog often, ever since. He is the talented creator of titles such as Copper, Daisy Kutter and much, much more! Check him out as this man is up and coming! Ohhh, he also draws cool robots!

Kibuishi is an amazingly talented illustrator. I think I found Copper right in the formative days of my interest in comics and webcomics. Admittedly, I was a late bloomer, for that event was but 2 years ago. I’m also a big fan of Flight, an ongoing series of comic compilations that Kibuishi is largely involved in organizing.

It’s the blog for Flight, it keeps tabs on some amazingly skilled illustrators who have collaborated with the project. Most have online portfolios that you can spend days marveling at. Kibuishi also frequents the forums, so if you want to chat it up with him, it’s a reasonable venue.
